Welcome to the 2^nd newsletter of Uttam Blastech. The first newsletter has been a resounding success. With construction season just commencing, perhaps this is the right time to reach you through this letter.

The Indian economy seems to be picking up slowly but surely. Infrastructure Industry is turning up with many new projects in the pipeline. Mining Legislation is being thoroughly overhauled. These reforms, I am sure, will pave the way for world-class Mining and Infrastructure industries in India. The day doesn’t look far off.

Restrictions on the use of explosives are increasing day by day. Rightly so, as commercial explosives are being used by antisocial elements. With effect from 1^st October 2015, form RE 13 is compulsory for all the user movement of explosives. With the size of Mines increasing, Villages moving towards the mines and increasing awareness of the issues, blasting related litigation is bound to go up in India, as did it in the USA in the 70s.
