Especially in hilly terrain, the unstable slope is always a hazard. Apart from assessing and monitoring existing slopes, the critical consideration in slope stability is proper slope design. The first step in successful slope design requires collecting information regarding the geophysical and geomechanical properties of the rock mass, site geology and presence of groundwater in and around the excavation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stable slopes are essential for safe excavation. In mines, for safety and cost reduction one needs to find out the best stable slope.
